Using Female Condoms

Female condoms are a good option for women and men who want to take care of their health and enhance their pleasure. Though called a “female” condom, the FC2 is not just for people who identify as female. People of all genders and sexual orientations use female condoms. These products are also referred to by non-gendered names including receptive condom, internal condom, and bottom condom.

Currently the only female condom available in the U.S. is the FC2. The following instructions explain how to use the FC2 for vaginal and anal sex. Remember, just like trying anything new, practice makes perfect. Trying it on your own before using it with a partner can help you to become more familiar and comfortable and increase the likelihood of having a feel-good female condom experience.
